NEW YEAR'S REFLECTION 2010

At the end of this year, maybe many of us are starting to evaluate our lives during the year of 2009. Usually we start to evaluate how far we've walked, how many steps we have go forward or perhaps how many times we have failed.

But actually below are what is usually comes on everyone's mind about the year of 2009

• Do we have achieved our target, which have set before?
• Did we have very much failure stories or success stories?
• Did we often experience a forward progress or otherwise?

I won't guess. But seeing the economy climate today, there will be several people who feel hopeless, desperate, weak and helpless. It may be happened, because these group of people experienced a failure or economic decadency compared than a year ago. Hearing the economic prediction about what is going to happen next year, mostly predicted bad news. Of course, many people who experienced failure are going to feel their faith weakens.
But there's good news that I want to give at the end of this 2009. Read this following :

"Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD,
and my judgment is passed over from my God?
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD,
the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of HIS understanding. HE giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
(Isaiah 40: 27-31)

The words above said that we should not feel abandoned or forgotten by our Lord, just only because every failure that has happened in our lives. The verses also say that GOD understands what we experienced and the burden we have carried today. How do we feel desperate and began to feel our hope are in vain. And it shows that we start to loose our faith.

God says that He is the GOD, the Creator of this world, HE is watching us and every our steps. How Powerful is HE and HE wont become tired or faint. Eventually HE looks at us as HIS human creations that may often 'tough' or not obey HIS Words. If our Lord is human, perhaps even more HE shall desperate when seeing us. But, it won't be happened! The Lord our God will not become tired or faint. HE has an amazing plan for us and must be extremely well done for us.

Whatever happens in our lives so far. Do not worry, despair, or become weak in our faith. Remember, that our GOD has a great plan for people who still put their hopes to HIM. He said that we would be like an eagle flying high up during a storm. We can learn from Joseph in Bible who exiled by his brothers into slavery and experience events, which 'seems' like living in a failure or decadency along thirteen years. But what happened, because he remained loyal and believed in the Lord - he could unexpectedly become Pharaoh's right hand. Even he has the same position as Pharaoh himself.

Keep faithful and keep 'open your wings', so that eventually then you had experienced a miracle from GOD. Yes, let HIM who raised you, though this time you 'are in prison' or in the period of decadency. As long as you still remain in His Words, keep loyal and trusting to Him, surely the Lord will raise you up for the glory of His name.

Thus, you will enter the year 2010 with a boldness, no doubt, and belief that there will be many success waiting you there.
